Abraham (Avi) Borenstein
Abraham (Avi) Borenstein is the founder and principal of the firm. He enjoys over 30 years experience handling complex transactional and litigation matters in New York, New Jersey and across the United States. His practice is wide ranging and diversified and that vast experience aids him in the handling of matters of all types. His experience includes providing expert witness testimony in several diverse real estate matters; serving as “judge” in the Benjamin Cardozo Law School Entertainment Law Moot Court program; teaching continuing legal education in New Jersey and New York; and many other educational endeavors. Avi is a court appointed Arbitrator in the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, as well as a court appointed commissioner of condemnation matters in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Avi is widely consulted by other lawyers regarding various legal and practical issues. Avi is a noted speaker and teacher and has spoken to audiences in the thousands about the Holocaust. Avi has served as counsel to numerous charitable institutions of various types, both secular and religious based, in many communities. In his rare free time, Avi enjoys both producing plays for the New York Broadway theater and serving as Head Coach of the basketball program at The Flatbush School in Brooklyn, New York.
